OutsideInnovation was founded in 2011 by Thomas Trudel. Thomas holds a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and has completed numerous continuing education courses and training programs. His experience and skill set are broad as he focuses on being a multifaceted engineer who can think on his feet, improvise, and solve any problem. Couple this with a tenacious work ethic and passion for engineering and you could not ask for a better addition to your team. OutsideInnovation is a reflection of those qualities and has worked constantly for the last 8 years to bring innovative and high quality engineering solutions to market.
At OutsideInnovation or primary focus is enabling human based exploration of the land, sea, and space. Our passion projects include deep sea submersibles, aerospace propulsion, and backcountry exploration throughout the world. We have contributed to the deep sea and aerospace industries through published research that seeks to push the limits of exploration in both arenas, practical field work, and educational outreach. Additionally, we strive to increase access to these hard-to-reach places by creating affordable technology and research solutions in key industries where extreme cost has become the norm.
